Hi,
I have a query regarding work experience,

I have full time work experience as System Administrator from march 2009 to date
(which makes total of five year)

On the other hand I have a part time work experience (6Hrs./Day, 5 Days a Week) as IT Technical Support along with my studies, details are under:

March 2008 to March 2009 (one Year)


Please tell me that, would ACS count the experience gained along with the studies?

Other Query:
I scored the following,
1) Age 25 – 32 = 30 points
2) IELTS 6 Band = = 0 points
3) Five years = 10 points
4) Bachelor degree = 15 points
----------------
TOTAL = 55 Points

Can I apply for Visa 190? as I understand that they will reward 5 points if the occupation is listed in State/Territory Nominated Skilled list.

OR

is it necessary to have 60 points to apply for visa 190 without 5 nominated points??

I wouldn't think IT tech support would count for Systems Admin assessment but only ACS can tell you for sure - for info, work experience at or above 20 hours per week counts.

But have you looked at ACS summary criteria? If you completed your qualification in 2009, you would need a minimum of 2 years experience to be deemed as skilled - and those years cannot be counted for points

If you do have 55 points, you can apply for 190 but I believe these may be close to their limit for this year. However, by the time you receive your skills assessment that should have changed

what about the experience gained after completed my qualification, which is total of 5 years, so it means it would be 3 years???

If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major closely related to your nominated occupation, you would need 2 years experience to be deemed skilled. If all your 5 years experience is relevant, you would have 3 years to claim points for as per ACS criteria - summary here http://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets/...teria-2014.pdf
