Hi great ng we have just applied for PR sent the forms off at the end of january and I
suppose all we can do is wait. I have got a couple of questions though
1/ when we sent our application off it was complete with medical and police reports, just
lately there have been some people on the news group who state that if we are accepted
then we will probably only have 1 year from the date of the medicals to make an entry
into Australia, the medicals were at the end of December. Is this correct ? The longer
we wait for the green light the less time we will have to prepare to go!
2/ We are considering a move to the area of North Queensland Townsville, Mackay or Cairns
does anyone know what it is like in this area for jobs ( I am an Electrician my other
half is a Photographic technician ) Property prices? Cost of living? any advice would
really be appreciated
