At the moment the only route we have available to us is family sponsorship which apparently takes ages - we were quoted up to 3 years by one agent but in all fairness they did say that it is an unknown timescale at the moment what with all the changes that have taken place.
If we apply via a family sponsorship (176 visa) are we able to change to a state sponsorship if they have accountants on the QLD list when it comes out? Incidentally - does anyone know when the QLD state list comes out with regards to required occupations?
I have been informed by one agent that we can change visa type and another agent that we can't
Also if we can change visa type - is there a charge?

Presumably trying to stop people lodging and then jumping ahead by gaining state sponsorship.

Go-Matilda reckon that it will not be possible to transfer on a post 1 Jul application as the sponsorship needs to be in place at the time of application.
Presumably trying to stop people lodging and then jumping ahead by gaining state sponsorship.
