Hi all,

We are applying for a 190 visa based on my husbands skills so he being the main applicant and then myself and our 3 children as dependents.
I was wondering if once our visa is granted do we all have to fly over to validate or just him?
Obviously we hope we will be in the position to be able to do the move within the 12 months but just incase we need a bit more time I was hoping not to use a big chunk of our money on flying over there.

Hi,
Everybody will have to validate within the time frame. It might even be less than 12 months - it's 12 month from PCC or medicals - whichever had been obtained earlier.
Our visa was granted in September and we had till June as there our PCC had been sent to us. As hubby also had to get PCC from another country, which took 3 months to get, we had less time to make our first entry.

I thought that would be the case. We also need police checks from another country as we lived in Germany for 6 years.

Yup, it's anywhere where you've lived for 12 months or more.
