TAX RETURN
Hi All,
I am new in the forum. Basically I have got invitation for visa but I came across an issue. I am currently working with Multinational company which is having offices in different countries. I am working with them and my salary is coming through bank from abroad and I am working for clients outside my country because our company is not generating any revenue in my country. they basically open this office for chief labour/worker.
Now the issue is here in my country the employer deducat taxes from empoyee's salary and pay to income tax department.
But as our company is not generating any revenue here therefore they are not paying any taxes for employees. I have paid all my taxes in my previous job but this time my employer is not paying any taxes as our salary is coming from offshore.
Now my question is my job is genuine and I can present salary slip, contract letter, bank statement and transaction fee paid on transferring my salary to my account via.
Now If I apply for visa. Does DIBP really interested in paying taxes in your home country or they only looking for a genuine job.
Please guide.
Regards,
anisha..

Re: TAX RETURN
It is up to you to pay your taxes, whether your company is making money or not is irrelevant to your taxes. If you are asked to provide tax returns, then yes you have a problem. Better hope you are not asked.
