Default Subclass 189 as General Electrician

Hey everyone. Just a query as far as applying for a 189 as general electrician with 60 points. Currently trying to get my PTE 79+ for my points then my agent is set to do my EOI. Im just curios about my chances of an invite for that occupation with only 60 points? Any info would be great

I would say you would get an invite within a couple of months

I would think it wouldn't even take that long

OP, do you already have a valid OTSR? Or better, the Australian cert III? Think for DIBP they need to be no older than 2 or 3 years.

Also, any ideas why there are so few electricians getting invites compared to their ceiling value? Could this mean getting my 189 easier as there is more demand?

Probably the time it takes to get an assessment means that applications are spread out, and not everyone passes the assessment.
