Stage 2 - Permanent Partner Visa Assessment (100,801)
Hi there,
Should I be concerned?
I've uploaded almost everything I could. Is it just me or is the 2nd stage partner visa taking longer than expected wait time?
Should I be concerned?
"This application has been received by the department but has not been assigned for assessment. The department may contact the applicant once assessment of your application begins if further information is required. Application sent Online - 23 FEB 2016".

Its also been shown that people have had phone calls, letters, and even decisions made on their applications while the Immi account still says no one has even looked at them.
If you only submitted in February you may have a long wait ahead. The rise in fess led to a huge increase in onshore 820 applications and those have precedence over the PR decisions.

Current wait time, based on reports on other forums, can be currently 12-18 months from submission.

Would the stay in Australia (as Provisional Applicant) be counted towards the citizenship? I believe it's 4 years in total with at least 2 years after getting the PR granted. I stand corrected but would appreciate a little clarification here.
