Default Skilled visa query

Hey Guys

Posting this for a friend, is it possible to be sponsored under a skilled visa if you have a degree in Applied Social care (Bachelors)? Does this fall under any occupation on the skilled visa list?

Thanks so much

So did they check the CSOL to see if their occupation is there?

Degrees don't "fall under" occupations. In that whether somebody fits into an occupation code typically depends upon what they do for a living not what degree they have (there are a couple of exceptions namely engineering and accounting).

If your friend is working in an occupation on the SOL or CSOL then they should look up what the requirements are for skills assessment and it is possible a degree will be required.

I didn't see anything called social care worker or support worker, I do see social worker and social professionals, although the latter is unlikely to lead to a visa.
