RSMS PROCESSING TIME?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows what the current processing time is for the RSMS visa? (from nomination to grant) I know it is a bit longer than it used to be but not sure by how much! Its an off-shore application.
Thanks :)

We've been advised 4 - 6 months - took over 2 months for approval of the nomination this time (we've done a few).

We're just putting in another now and hoping it's not that long but who knows! :fingerscrossed:

Thanks for that, not too much longer than the original 5 months we were quoted. Hopefully it will go through quicker !!

RSMS/ 857 Timeframe/ Experience

Hi all,

After being on a 457 for a couple of years, i've finally put in my application for a RSMS visa. Medicals arranged for Friday this week.

My employers weren't keen on handing over a particular document to the migration agent and insisted on handing it over to DIAC directly and this, according to my agent doesn't fulfill the criteria of a 'decision-ready' application and hence will take longer to process.

I'd like to hear your experience with processing times if you've been in the same boat or if you've been able to launch a decision ready application.

Cheers and good luck with all of your applications.

No-one is going to be able to quote a timeline for a particular visa as they are all different. I suggest people have a look at the threads running for applicants in each month, that will give you the best idea.

There are some sites which specialise in timeline guestimates - BE isn't one I'm afraid.
