Quitting Current Job While Waiting for Visa 190 Approval
Hello, I lodged my visa 190 in end May 2017 and replied to CO for more documents in mid June 2017. I plan to quit my current job and take a break for several months while waiting for visa grant. Will this affect my visa processing time and outcome? Thank you.

It will not affect your visa processing time and outcome.
However, it is a foolish idea as you should never assume that you will be granted a visa until you actually receive your grant notice. What is your Plan B for if you are rejected, or if processing time stretches out a lot longer than expected?

As for your concern about "what ifs", I have Plan B. In fact, this is a very good time for me to take a long break and travel. Thanks again.

You do not need to notify DIBP.
