Default PR granted - splitting up, before emigrating

If you've been granted PR with your husband as the main applicant (subclass 136 - I think). If you split up after activating but prior to actually emigrating does that mean that the spouse can't go anymore?

Any advice greatfully received.

Once visas are validated, further changes in circumstances (like separation/divorce) do not need to be notified to DIAC.
