Default Parent visa

Hi
I would like to apply for a visa for my parent and that is long stay parent visa ( multiple entry for 3 years ). They came here on tourist visa 2011 n stayed for three month. We did not applied for any permanent visa.
My question is which no visa (like 679/600) should we apply for my parent off shore and which no of form (like 1418 ).
Thanks
Kamrul

Well it used to be the 676 that allowed the long stay for parents, but that one is nw saying its closed to new applicants, and you need to look at the 600. I'm not sure that the long stay option is still available?

Tourist visa (subclass 676)

There is no such visa available. The 12 month tourist visa is the longest available, the long stay parent visa was very short lived.

From what you have said it sounds as if you are looking at the SC600 visa Form 1419. The extended period e.g. 3 year option (max stay 12 months in 18 month period) DIBP consider on a case by case basis, there are conditions.
