Once get ANMAC LOD what is next step?
Hi guys
I have completed my ANMAC skills assessment and been issued with a letter of determination. I am unsure now of next step. I'm a nurse from UK currently in New Zealand where I am currently working as a registered nurse.
I would like to apply for the permanent 189 Australian visa. I am basically wondering how I proceed on from here?
Many thanks

If you have recieved a positive skills assessment, then you need to calculate points.
If you are claiming points for English, then you need to take one of the tests such as ILETS.
After that, you can lodge an eoi. Though note, nobody is being invited for a 189 with under 70 points.

If you haven't already then you need to do an English exam such as IELTS.
Then it's a case of adding up your points and submitting an EOI

If IELTS is not needed for a skills assessment, or for points, then if the applicant is a UK citizen (amongst others), there is no need to sit the test.

You're right! Apologies. I completely forgot I sat my IELTS before my skills assessment. I was under the impression nurses and midwives had to sit some sort of English exam despite nationality prior to an ANMAC skills assessment. X
