Occupation Groups that have reached quota
Skill Select Occupation Groups that have reached quota have increased.
Note: no further 189/489 independent visa invitations will be issued for the following occupations groups until 1st July 2016 (so not too long to wait now).
2212** Auditors, Company Secretaries and Corporate Treasures
2339** Other Engineering Professionals
2335** Industrial, Mechanical and Production Engineers
2631** Computer Network and Systems Engineers

Petroleum Engineer is ANZSCO 233612 so not in one of the groups that has reached it's quota (it's in mining engineers group 2336 which has issued 203 invitations from 1000 - https://www.border.gov.au/Busi/Empl/skillselect )
