Nurse wanting to apply for PR
I'm currently in Oz on a working holiday visa, looking to apply for PR. Does anyone know where I'd need to start? Will I need IELTS before I can apply? Is it a long process?

Some nurses are more in demand than others, and I'm not even sure that they are all covered by the new skills lists.
OP you need to start with a thorough read of Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection - make sure your particular stream is on the skills list, and make sure you can pass the ANMAC skills assessment. You will need IELTS fOr thet.
You will also need to look at AHPRA and ensure you meet the requirements for registration - especially regarding whether you are degree or diploma trained.

That pretty much covers it!
All nurses must be degree-qualified these days (and currently registered)
