NMBA Registration Before Submitting 189 Application
Hi there,
Me and my partner who is a nurse, were hoping to immigrate to Australia under the 457 visa however upon hearing of the requirement to present yourself in Australia within 3 months to activate your nursing registration before has put a stop to our plans as it would be stressful to get sponsored in that time and submit a visa application. We are now looking into getting a 189 PR visa, the question i would like to know is if we get invited to apply for the 189 visa would my partner still need to have his nursing registration before this in order to Apply? We are both Irish and i work as a Software Engineer.
