Default Management Accountant - CPA Migration Assessment

Hi,

just looking for a little bit of advice please. Starting to seriously think about submitting an EOI for a 189 visa but want to make sure it is worth it. I know accountants need at least 70 points to even be in with a chance so want to do all my homework 1st.

My Husband is CIMA qualified. He has a certificate to confirm that he passed all his exams in June 2006 (so 11 years experience) but he did not submit his log book until Oct 2010 (so not even 7 years exp) Can anyone advise if the CPA class the 'skilled' date as the confirmation of passing all the exams or if its the date he was 'Qualified'. Those 5 points feel so valuable at this stage!!

Thanks in advance
