Default Living and Visiting other countries in the past 10 years

Hey guys,

On my visa application it's asking for countries I've visited in the past 10 years that I've been in for less than 12 months (Q73).

This includes when myself and my partner lived in Malta for a while - from 07/2013 to 02/2014 - which is less than 12 months.

Initially we stayed with her father over there for ~6weeks and then got a tenancy agreement elsewhere.

We're including that tenancy agreement as proof of our relationship. So under "Reason For Visit" I'm not sure what to put.

We were visiting family and ended up living there. What's the best way to explain that?

Another question I have relating to the same section (Q74) asks for all the countries I've lived in (not just visited), Do I put the the UK down for the past 10 years? And should I list the extended stay in Malta in that section too?

If I need to split this into two separate questions let me know and I will, apologies if this doesn't make much sense.

Thanks

Just put 'visiting family" for Malta - less than 12 months so you shouldn't need a police check. Unless you moved the focus of your life there and were working etc you didn't really live there, but as you are using it as evidence it probably wouldn't do any harm to list it in the Living secton - along with the UK
