Default Just missing 20 points on PTE

Hello everyone

I need some advice again.

I have attempted PTE twice and both times I got more than 79 for Listening, Writing and Reading (late 80's for the latter 2 sections). However in speaking I consistently end up getting less than 79 (73, 70). Its been frustrating to say the least as am so close to the 79 mark.

The reason for my low marks in Speaking goes down to nerves wherein small distractions makes me umm and ahh and that impacts my oral fluency marks.

I was therefore seeking advice if I should attempt PTE again or go for IELS? Would I be jeopardising my marks in Listening, Reading and Writing by going for IELS?

Pls let me know.

Many thanks
Meeta

Have you considered getting the help of a tutor? They can often make all the difference.

Regards,
