Re: June 2009 Visa Applicants
I guess I am a June 2009 applicant as I was charged the pre-July 1 fee on my 121/856 ENS application.
Timeline:
June 2 employer nomination lodged (employer request ID # issued)
June 25 Fedex records signature for couriered 47ES w/o medicals or PCC
July 5 personal PCC mailed
July 8 Credit card declined (subsequently charged) (personal request ID # issued)
July 9 spouse PCC mailed
July 13 employer nomination approved (client # & file number in letter)
...
Now it is the waiting game (well... and doing medicals, forms 80 & 1221) . Still waiting for a CO assigned and an official letter of receipt.

Re: June 2009 Visa Applicants
Just to let you know that we have been contacted by a CO today asking for us to attend Meds & request PCC's. All our documents online are now showing "met" apart from meds.
Looks like CO's are now starting to pick up the 176's
Good luck everyone

Re: June 2009 Visa Applicants
hi,
I have applied on 2nd June 2009 for 175 GSM.
My asco code is 2231-79 (.net technologies specialist)
I am on CSL/MODL.
Uploaded all the documents on 28th June except medical and PCC.
So by looking at the cases on 175 CSL/MODL lodged in JAN visa has been started to come up in 6-7 Months.. CO allocated to them in 4-5 months.
So, should I take medical and PCC and front load them ?
or should I wait for CO allocation?

Re: June 2009 Visa Applicants
Applied for a 175 on CSL/MODL and here's my status so far.
09/06/2009 Application received - processing commenced
09/06/2009 Application fee received
15/07/2009 Application being processed further
Sent a message via the post-lodge form to figure out whether a CO was assigned and here's what I got back.
Thank you for your e-mail in relation to your visa application under
Australia's General Skilled Migration program.
Information about the health requirement for General Skilled Migration and
medical examinations is available on the department's website at
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/heal...ents/index.htm
Applicants for a General Skilled Migration visa can undertake health and
character checking prior to their application being allocated to a case
officer. The benefit of applicants undertaking health and character
checks may be a reduction in the amount of time required before a decision
can be made, however, applicants and migration agents should be aware that:
* Health examinations have limited validity periods and if these expire
before the application is finalised these checks may be requested again,
and must be provided at the applicant's cost.
* The ASPC may still need to undertake other checking in respect of the
application that may delay a decision.
* Undertaking health examinations and providing police clearances does not
guarantee an application will be successful.
At this stage your file has not been allocated to a case officer.
From 1 January 2009, the new Ministerial Direction gives priority
processing to applications strictly in the following order:
1. employer sponsorship; then
2. State or Territory Sponsorship; then
3. an occupation on the Critical Skill List (CSL); then
4. an occupation on the MODL; and then
5. All other applications
The ASPC is currently in the process of identifying and allocating all
State or Territory Sponsored applications. In addition, allocation of
cases with occupations on the CSL has commenced. CSL applications are
allocated in date of lodgement order.
To assist in deciding when to undertake health and character procedures
please send a blank email to:
[email protected]
for current application processing dates.
Alternatively, applicants can wait on a request from a case officer before
proceeding with these checks.

Thanks for sharing. A fairly standard response I would say.
I reckon Dec/Jan is when we can expect some action.
