Re: January 2010 Applicants
At my “Document Checklist” it is showing
12/03//2010 Form 160EH - Radiologist report on chest x-ray Received
12/03/2010 Form 26EH - Medical Examination for an Australian visa Received
It is showing “Received” instead of “Met”.
AND
At application status is showing “Health requirements finalized” as,
09/03/2010 Health requirements finalised
05/03/2010 Further medical results referred
05/03/2010 Further medical results referred
05/03/2010 HIV blood test referred
Is it means my Health requirements are finalized?

Re: January 2010 Applicants
Wow, I can't believe how fast the visas are being processed now.
I've lodged my 175 online on the 25th January and I'm being asked for my meds now. I'm quite amazed (and thankful!!) at the speed of things!
I've seen many timelines and I honestly can't believe my eyes
May I just clarify that after my meds are done (and let's assume that they're all clear), it will take say, less than 3 months for my visa to be issued?
Many thanks!

Re: January 2010 Applicants
I think the PLE did the trick for me .. today my application status change to Application being processed further.
Following documents are met;
Birth Certificate, Qualification, Language, Skills assessment.
Work experience and specific work experience is still required.

Re: January 2010 Applicants
+ve assessment from EAust (Electronic Engineer) - 15 Jan 2010
Lodged my application for 175 visa (CSL & MODL) - 25 Jan 2010
Meds required - 16 March 2010
I would really like to know if the visa will be approved within say, 3 months from after I upload my medicals, please help?
I know no one can really promise me anything, but if that's the processing time, at least I will have a peace of mind! Please help me out here.
Thanks so much!
Cheers,
mei

Getting substantially earlier than 3 months : 33.33% chance
Getting in about 3 months : 33.33% chance
Getting in substantially later than 3 months : 33.33 % chance.
Getting tomorrow: 00.01% chance
Beat that ;-)

Yes it could be a possibility. It could be ever earlier than this. And could be later than this too.

Re: January 2010 Applicants
My case officer requested further information as follows (meds were submitted before CO),
####
To facilitate the assessment of this application, you are requested to provide the following
additional information listed below:
Character requirement
● Police clearance certificate for each applicant aged 16 years or over from every country
where you have lived for a total of at least 12 months in the last 10 years. Please refer to
the enclosed form Character requirements penal clearance certificates for further instructions.
You must provide the original certificates.
For information on obtaining police clearances please refer to the Character Requirements Penal
Clearance Certificates (formerly known as Form 47P) available at
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/char...ents/index.htm
Timeframe for response
You must respond to this request within 28 days after you are taken to have received this letter.
###
So I uploaded PCC.
In some cases (mostly applicant form HR country), CO also asked for Form 80.
My question is should I send the Form 80 now or wait until CO asked me to do so?
