Hi,

My application status is "Application received - processing commenced ".

It is also showing "Health requirements outstanding" .

Do I need to submit medical reports immidiately or will wait until a CO is assigned??

Hi bro....
Yes you can proceed for Med and PCC as many people did this before CO is assigned. It reduces time really.

Actually if you are not on CSL then your case may take long time to finalize.
In that case I shall suggest you to wait for CO requests as validity of Med and PCC is 1 year.

I applied on 5th Jan - CSL, MODL, 175 Visa - HR country

Status updated to ABPF on 5th Feb. No documents changed to Met yet. No CO assigned yet.

Is that mean, I am going to have a CO soon???

I think it means that somebody has looked at your application. What I understood from different forums that once status changes to ABPF, CO is normally assigned in 1 to 2 months.

Today I got a mail from CO, Team 2 requesting for PCC. I submitted my meds before CO.

i frontloaded PCC(9th Feb) and medicals(23rd feb)...now i received a phone call from australian high commision in Pakistan and he inquired about so many things relating to my job like DOJ,designition etc etc.then the person tried calling my office landline no. and head office landline no. and he said he is unable to connect.i m worried as to whether this thing will effect it or make it skeptical???i provided him with HR manager cell phone,official email ID and business phone no. and then he disconnected after some more questions.Can anyone tell me whether they have other authenctic sources of verification or just phones?

Hello Everyone!

I'm new in posting but I've read a lot on this forum and it's so inspiring to see most of the people granted visas inspite of the changes.

My visa application is for Regional Sponsored Visa 475 in QLD with family and lodged it last Jan. 11, 2010. Status is still "processing commenced".

ACS - 2231-11 Systems Manager
IELTS - Feb 2009
QLD State Nomination approval - Jul. 29, 2009

It states on the priority processing that state nomination has 2nd priority but according to our agent, we have to wait for the SOL to come out. Anyway, I'd like to stay positive and hopefully everything will workout.

I'm expecting good news soon and good news for everyone!
