I've passed the Citizenship test....BUT
Hi There,
We've passed the citizenship test. However we are leaving Australia permanently before we can attend the ceremony.
Can I still get a passport?

Not until you have attended a ceremony. You are not a citizen until then.

As above, you cannot get a passport until you have had citizenship conferred at a ceremony. This is clearly stated in the process.

Either wait to leave until after your ceremony or ask to have your ceremony transferred to an overseas diplomatic post. If you're moving back to the UK then they'll be holding a ceremony on Australia Day at Australia House.
