hi
i have applied for immigration to canada but recently i have decided to apply for australia too.does it influence my application to canada?is it allowable to get permanent residency from both countries?
your advice is highly appreciated

As George mentioned, there's nothing in Australian law stopping you from obtaining/maintaining dual/multi-residency or even dual/multi-citizenship. Whether that's possible in practice is another matter altogether. Eventually, your Canadian and/or Australian permanent visa will lapse if you don't reside in either/both country/ies long enough to obtain a further permanent visa.

thanks for your helpful advice.infact i am willing to do so because of long procesing time of canada.infact this is a kind of garauntee to my program of immigration.anyway what you have mentioned is correct and must be paid attention to.

If you settle in Australia, then why on earth would you want to then uproot yourself and go to Canada?
