How long for Character Check from Garda

How long for Character Check from Garda
Hi,
Any Irish Bods out there know how long it takes to get a PCC from the Garda Siochana. I sent in a request in November and still not a bean, just wondering if I should chase up or is this normal. I would have thought 2 weeks would have been the appropriate time line. But who Knows?

It took one week to get my character check back.However...........when I received it they had put my date of birth as 1875!So asked them for another. Got the next one a few days later. But...........this time they got the month wrong!!So third time lucky, I got the correct one. All in all about 3 weeks!!!How Irish is that!!!![

my first cert took 1 week. DIMIA lost that one and when i went back to the guards and told them what happened i got the 2nd one back in 2 days. and it was christmas week.
so a lot quicker than than the brits.

Yep, when I called about it they told me to drop in and they'd have it for me the following day. Hasn't been requested yet so fingers crossed when it does it'll be this quick!!
