Default Go Matilda for IT Skilled Visa?

Hi

Has anybody used Go Matilda for an 'IT' skilled migration visa? We are just on the verge of signing with them and although they have been excellent so far,Im just a little concerned that they use an IT consultant in Oz for any questions they can't answer, just a bit worried of response times etc.I know their reputation is excellent, but I know it can can a bit trickier with a third person involved when it comes to chasing replies etc.We are doing the RPL through the ACS and Im guessing that there will be a lot of questions throughout this process,so I was just after a bit of feedback from people who've gone specifically through the RPL process with them...

Thank you

Thanks for this- I was mainly querying because I have also been in contact with Peter Chiam (PT labs)who is a specialist in IT-he has also got v. good feedback and he is also based in Oz. I wondered if he would be better for us simply because I am going directly to the IT specialist direct, rather than speaking to Go Matilda-who then contact their specialist...I know there is a thread on here which is comparing PT labs to Go Matilda, and all of the feedback is good-but I wanted to know specifically how good 'Go Matilda' were with IT specialists...hope this makes sense

I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. Just go with whoever you feel most comfortble with. Best of luck.

Rach,

I've used Go Matilda for my 175 visa and I'm in IT as well.

They have been great. What more can I say.

As others have said, the choice is down to you and who you feel comfortable with. Just wanted to let you know that I've used Go Matilda for my visa and that they have been excellent.

Just waiting for my Meds to be checked in Sydney and hopefully that will be the final hurdle.... (Any day now..... I hope)

I am not sure whether this is relevant, but once we are engaged you would have direct contact with our IT person in Australia, rather than having to deal via our team in the UK ...

Best regards.

Rach,

Just re-read your email. I did have a skills assessment with ACS but don't believe I went down the RPL route. Had to write loads of statutory declarations, etc.

Had contact with GoMatilda's IT person in Oz throughout the skills assessment. (Direct email contact, as Alan said)

Email replies were very quick. I would send and email in the evening and have a response waiting for me the next day.

That's just my experience and thought I would let you know.

Thanks for this Alan-Marina did mention this for questions she couldnt answer,we just wanted to find out other people's experience of dealing with your IT person. However,we have been very impressed with your service so far,so we have actually decided to go with your company and will be sending the initial assessment forms back this weekend! We look forward to working with your company!

Hi,

I used Go Matilda to help with my skills assessment as they were recommended to me by a friend at work and thought they were excellent. I also work in IT and am applying for a 175 with MODL, have no degree and applied through RPL. I got a positive assessment at the end of September
