filling on line application
Hi we are in NSW on holiday visiting our children and grand children and want to stay we have nothing to go back to the UK for and we want to apply for an aged persons 804 visa. I have all the bits of paper work ready and certified where neccesary, my son will sponsor us, we pass the balance of family test and we have some funds, we are currently renting a house for the duration of our holidays.
MY problem is the on line application form, after creating signatures they will not save and I can see no way to attach any documents to the form.
I am using Adobe Reader 10 it will only save a blank form, If I fill the form on the Au Immi website I can not attach signatures, sponsors form or documents.
I am at the point of utter despair
Does anyone think that they can help this old dodderer
thanks sweepy

Re: filling on line application
I can only offer my experience of filling in my form on the immi website. This was at the end of December 2014. As I was filling in my form, my sponsor was trying to fill in hers at the same time. She could not get past a certain point and we couldn't figure out why.
I carried on filling in my form and hit 'submit' which took me to the payment portal. As soon as I paid the fees with my credit card the application was submitted. Within a few minutes of the submission, we were able to complete the sponsors form - it was refusing to go past a certain point as it couldn't find an application to attach itself to.
Again, as soon as the app was submitted I was able to upload documents to attach to to it. My visa application is being processed as I was issued a bridging visa within a couple of days. The immi application form was frustrating but it gets easier once it's submitted.
Good luck!

Re: filling on line application
Simply put, you fill in the questions asked by the application online (just the questions) and then submit and pay. Once you submit you are able to attach all your supporting documents. You essentially create an application by filling out the online application form and then after payment can you upload supporting documents into your user account.
Best of luck.
Best of luck.

I will try again to day and see how I go, I will post mt progress as it happens.
Thank you both, the simple answers are usually the best ones

Re: filling on line application
Well that was easy, once you discover that you can only submit an application by post and not on line everything else was straight forward
Thankyou all who helped me
