Entitlement to Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) for UK Citizens on Bridging Visa
In laws arrived the other week. Staying here on a bridging visa. Told they can get Medicare but no entitlement to the PBS. Is this right? I thought the reciprocal agreement with the UK included the PBS?

Who told them they couldn't get access to PBS?

Not know for their accurate info -a bridging visa is not something they would come across every day, hence they are very unlikely to know the correct answer without doing some research 
I agree with Dorothy, if they are entitled to Medicar they can also get PBS.
