Citizenship penal clearence
Hi there,
I will be applying for citienship in 6 months time. I have a few questions regarding few things.
1. I know that penal clearances are valid for 12 months for permanent residency but are they also valid for 12 months for citizenship purposes.
2. The form.1300t paper based says put your address over the last five years. Is this calendar years or calculation of periods of five 365 day periods back in time from when you apply?

2)I would assume the five years previous to the date you are submitting the form. If they want more they'll ask for it

Anybody applied for citizenship with penal clearances older than 6 or 3 months at the time of application? Just curious.Thank you for your cooperation

Nothing to suggest that they would not be valid - although if you plan to leave Aus and travel to the country from which the PCC has been issued, between now and applying for citizenship, they may ask you for an updated check.
