Hi, just had the Australian Consulate requesting 'more information' on how I will support
my wife and child once in Australia - they need evidence of income apparently. Surely this
is rather difficult without having a job confirmed in Australia...but by the same token, I
really need to be IN Australia to get the job in the first place?

Anyone else come across this issue? Is there any minimum amount in Australian dollars
which they will deem sufficient? We have savings in the interim to tide us over until I
get a job in Australia (IT so shouldn't be too much of an issue)...

Any tips/information/advice gratefully received.
