Default Case Officer <Removed Name>

Does anybody have any idea about case officer <removed> ? I lodged my file on Aug 2008 and this guy poped up as my CO on May 2009.

Since then I haven't received any news from him. I sent an e-mail to <removed> a week ago and he replied that he is still working on it and it is processing !!!

Does anybody have any idea about how long does it take until he issues a visa ?

Cheers,
Koko

Removed the name of your case officer from the post. These must not be posted openly. If you would like any advice from other members as to timeline processing, I suggest you give a little more information such as the type of visa you have applied for, when it was lodged and at what stage it is at.

You will also find several other threads on the same subject if you use the search function.

It takes as long as it takes. Some get their visas in a matter of a few weeks while others wait a couple of years or more.

Ooooh.....that sounds suspiciously like a request for a timeline share

Could the question be termed "unanswerable"? Could the topic be classed as "visa processing"?

I hate to disappoint, so will allow the sword to fall

To the OP - there is no set timeline for getting a visa, it takes as long as it takes I'm afraid.
