Carpet/ Vinyl Floor Fitter
Hi Everyone!
myself and my husband are wanting to move to oz from the UK with our 2 children. I am not sure if this is even possible as my husband is 44 ...so even if we could get a visa time is againat us. Has anyone here ever been issued a visa for being a carpet fitter, no qualifications but 10 years experience? Any advice would be appreciated on where to start. Many thanks

The place to start is the Department of Home Affairs website. You can look at what visas you may be eligible to apply for and what you need to get to that step. Usually you need to get a positive skills assessment, so start with that - see what assessing authority does carpet fitter assessments and what their requirements are.
