Calling all duct workers- HELP SKILLS Assessment
 

Hi everyone I'm new here and really need advice

My husband has been a ductworker in HVAC since 2006 and got a NVQ in heating and Ventilation in 2009 in 2015& 2016 he qualified NVQ level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

He still has been working as a ductworker and has no work experience in Air Con mechanical as the money is more in ductwork

Anyways we are looking to apply for 189 visa and spoke to a skill assessment agency and asked for help with a sheet mental worker skills assessment as he hadn't had any experience in Air Con mechanical

We were advised to do a skills assessment as Air Con mechanical plumber instead so neither or the above

Got the result yesterday from TRA and the skills assessment was unsuccessful as he NVQ didn't list the relevant skill level also other things the agent didn't check... � ����


So is it Sheet Mental worker we need to apply for? He is a site based duct work installer

Have you looked through the skill assessment requirements for that occupation?

Look through all the trade fact sheets for the metal trades on the Vetassess website and see if any of them are a good match.
