Default Bridging visa

Heyy,

Can anyone help and possibly give me some information on bridging visa please... Mainly period of validation, costs, best time to apply...

This would be required while a partner visa is being processed which I understand takes about 12 to 15 months... Do bridging visas cover this period.... ??

You don't apply for it, DIBP just grant it if it applies to your situation -and having rad your other thread, you would be granted one when your tourist visa expires, as long as you have put in the application for the Spouse visa. It kicks in automatically and its free. And it lasts until a decision is made on the Spouse Visa.
