Default ETA versus eVisitor

Would somebody be kind of enough to explain the difference between an Electronic Travel Authority Visa and a eVisitor Visa.

My youngest Daughter is confused as she is visiting in November and unsure which to apply for.

p.s......She is not interested in WHV.

Many thanks.

If she holds a UK passport get an EVisitor (651). The difference is basically that its free, and is only avaiable to holders of certain passports.

Default Re: ETA versus eVisitor

Both allow you to do the same things and both are valid for stays of up to three months. You apply for an eVisitor visa online and it is free of charge. An application for an ETA is usually made by a travel agent or airline on your behalf and they will charge you for the service. Both are usually granted immediately unless there is any adverse information regarding the applicant. An eVisitor visa is the one to go for if she holds a British Citizen passport.
