Re: Migration Consultant Recommendations
Why do you think you need a migration consultant, if you have a straightforward application then you should, as have most on here, be able to DIY. will save a lot of money. If you do need a consultant there are a few who do post on here, and please ensure they are MARA registered.

AIRCONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION MECHANIC is on the lists. The mandatory pre-migration skills assessment for this skilled occupation is expensive and demanding and the subsequent dealings with the relevant licensing authority to work in Australia have been described as onerous. They are certainly costly and lengthy.

For a start, Refrigeration Engineer is not on the skilled occupation lists for migration to Australia.

All occupations are required to undertake a kills assessment for PR visa applications, which for all trades are multi-part and expensive. An agent may be able to help you prepare your documents, but all information is available from Vetassess. Not sure an agent can help with subsequent licensing.
But you are correct - the closest occupation is likely Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, ANZSCO 342111. Info here : https://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-...nd-fact-sheets
