Hi all

I have been reading this thread but not posted before. My husband, self and three girls are hoping to move permanently to oz by next christmas. We successfully passed TRA back in July and submitted our application for 138 on 6th October. Am now worried as no acknowledgment as yet, have just got updated from aspc.processing and they are acknowledging on 12th October. I see from everyone else that all early October's have received acknowledgment - please someone put me out of my misery and say our application does not indicate a problem!!!!!!!!! When should I be really worried?? Or are 138 applications slower than the rest.

Can't say if 138 are slower but I've not had an acknowledgment yet and mine (136 non-MODL) was sent from Sydney on 7 October so should have been received 9 October. They have taken money though so it has been received even if not acknowledged yet. Sure the hold up is just because of volume of applications-that's what I'm hoping anyway!

Wooohooo, just checked my cc and there's a big fat debit there from DIMA. Never been so happy to have ovr 800 taken off my card. Will pm Nev to update the spreadsheet.

Our application was received on October 10th and we have just received our acknowledgement letter and had the £800 taken from CC. I guess we shall look forward to hearing about a CO in March or April. Good luck to everyone else.

Woohoo us too, they do like to store them up dont they !
App sent 12 Oct, received an email from our agent yesterday acknowledging it.
Told to hang loose until Feb or as late as May now.

And another one got the email this afternoon application was received on 17th Oct, agent has said nothin to do now till around April. Good luck to all still waitin.

Great that the acknowledgments are arriving thick and fast!

I've had my credit card debited but not received an email yet. Do you know if this is usual (to have money taken before receiving confirmation) or has my spam filter been over effective!?

Hello all, haven't been back here for a while, but thought I would jump on this thread. We are 139ers, and have recived our ack letter dated 17th October 2006. We are using the services of the wonderful George Lombard and I suppose it's just a case of sitting tight, watching the rain bounce off the window in the meantime!

Lets hope we can all keep each other company eh?
