Hi I have just come across this site, my application arrived in Adelaide on the 16th Oct, not that I have heard anything from them yet. I had to check with DHL to see if it had been delivered. I am hoping to get to Melbourne sometime next year!

Here they go with the latest news:

As of 14 November 2006 the ASPC is receipting offshore applications
received on 11 September 2006 and onshore applications received on 9
November 2006.

Don't get too carried away waiting for an acknowledgment - it is taking about 8 weeks for them to open the post over in Adelaide (I wonder if I can get a job there when I go - sounds like a breeze!) and that is not including Christmas..
