Addition of spouse to 856 visa application
Hi guys,
I and my wife are on my 457 visa valid for 3 years, and we are applying for a permanent residency (Employer Nomination Scheme). There are only two weeks left to submit our application because the employer nomination has been approved almost 6 months ago. All documents are ready and I am in Australia, but my wife is currently overseas. She will join me in Australia in about 3 months. She will also visit me in Australia in one month for about one week.
Here is our plan: I submit now a 856 visa application that includes me alone. When my wife visits me (i.e., in one month), we request the department to add her to my application.
Will this plan work, or is the only solution to apply for an offshore 121 visa?
