Default 820 processing times.

Hi All,

I am currently 14 months into my waiting for a case officer having applied for my 820 with my now wife back in August last year.

Does anyone have an updated idea on current processing times as the Immi site is still claiming 12-15 months wait. I received the generic email about 4-5 months ago telling me to get my evidence ready which it has been for the last 10 months. Myself and my Wife (Aussie) had been in a de-facto relationship for over 3 years at the time of application so in theory an 801 should be issued.

Has anyone had a case officer assigned recently and if so how long have you been waiting. I am based in Melbourne in case that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance,
A

Most people have a case officer very early on, thats no guide at all. Its just that the actual grant time is very slow. I've seen several lately at around 14-15 months so hopefully ypurs isn't too far away. I assume you have submitted the medical and police checks?
You should get the 801 straight off.
