we are going to apply for 309 visa shortly. It will be online application.
Do we need to sign important documents or is no need at all within the online application? Do they accept the e-signature??

The online forms do not need a signature, electronic or otherwise. Anything else would need to be scanned, so if a signature is needed it gets signed before its scanned and attached

Hello, do you know by when I will know if the visa will be granted?? There are some police checks and medicals, can I already at that stage get a flight ticket or it's not good idea?? Are those checks indication that it will be granted??

There is no way of being 100% sure it will be granted until you get the grant email. Even doing meds and pcc is no guarantee.
I believe the timeline for the UK at present is around 10-14 months, some are quicker, some are slower, but there is no way of knowing a date in advance.

DIBP always advise no life changing decisions like selling a house, giving uo a job etc until its granted.
