Hello everyone, need help regarding work experience for 190 PR.


I have bachelor's degree & 7 years of experience in last 10 years in the same field.


Previous 5 Years Job
- Appointment letter, job experience & salary slips available
- IT returns & from 60 available


Last 2 Years
- Freelancing & self-employment (same field)
- Payment was taken in personal bank account
- Have personal IT returns
- Client testimonials & reference letters available
- No company registration
- No current account


QUESTION
- Someone told me that you must have current account and business registration to count the above experience as self-employed
- Based on above data is my Freelancing work experience eligible for 190 PR?

To obtain a 190 visa, you need an occupation on the skills list, to be sponsored by a state who also includes the occupation on their list, to have enough points for a visa, and a valid skills assessment in that occupation, etc.

So would you need the freelancing experience for either the skills assessment or points (bearing in mind any additional criteria the sponsoring state has)?

Thanks, my occupation is already listed & eligible for 190.

I also have 65 points (min is 60) to eligible even without counting last 2 years experience.

The only question I have is "freelancing & self-employed experience is counted or not"

If you have 65 points without including it I would not worry. You only have to include evidence for experience you claim points for.

Even if your occupation is listed and eligible, it does not mean there is a state sponsoring it.
