Hi,

Can someone inform me what will happen if you get visa invitation and the main applicant is pregnant and unable to complete the medical xrays.

Will I be given more time to complete the medical
Will it affect or cancel the invitation

Please advise

When they request the medical you can inform them that you are pregnant and would rather wait until after the birth and they will put the application on hold.

If i submit the medical details after the delivery, how much more time will it take to process my Visa.

You will need to add the baby to the application so once you have done that and done all medicals your application will be processed again.

On the other hand, if you choose to do the medical before you give birth you can ask for a lead shield for the x-ray. Just let them know you're pregnant. If your visa is granted and you come to Australia before the baby is born he/she will be a citizen from birth.

But if you get the visa and baby is born after grant in UK then you will need to apply for a child visa.

Unless you are in a tearing hurry to get to Australia I would put the application on hold until baby is born.

Only thing that will effect the visa is if baby has severe medical condition and fails medical. Horrid thing to consider but you need to look at pros and cons of each option.
If you decide to wait until baby is born then don't waste money on police or meds for anyone as they will expire or shorten validation time.
