Hi folks,

We are lucky enough to have been granted 189 visas.

My plan was to go to Oz and settle, family to follow after house is sold - say in a few months or longer.

Someone has said we need to go together to activate the 189......I hope this is not so.

Any advice appreciated.

No you don't need to all go together. There will be a validation date in your grant later, by which you must all make first entry, but as long as you all arrive before that date it doesn't matter whether you come all together or individually.
