That's a shame. If QLD aren't currently sponsoring that may change in the future. You could check the other states if you don't mind living somewhere other than QLD for the first couple of years.

No easy way - have to check each state list. There are 8 - QLD, NSW, VIC, ACT, TAS, SA, WA and NT. If they still work, there should be links in this wiki page - A Rough Guide to Australian General Skilled Migration : British Expat Wiki

There are / were (re quotas) several states sponsoring plasters. Some have some additional requirements (e.g. IELTS and job offers).
NSW which is closest to QLD has done previously but is closed at the moment except 489s.

My occupation 312114 is in CSOL list. Previously it had high availability in SA Occupation list but now with 1st july update it has been moved to South Australian Graduates with IELTS 6 requirement. I am not able to apply for state sponsorship due to this change. Will this seats be updated & made available for state occupation in case it is not filled by SA graduates?
