MODL, CSL, SOL HELP!!!!

MODL, CSL, SOL HELP!!!!
As a secondary school teacher I am on the SOL and CSL but not on the MODL. Do you not get any extra point for being on the CSL?? For 175 I will need 120 points but will only have that if I get extra points from doing IELTS and teaching in Aus for a year (I have done 4 months already).
Is the CSL just for priority processing?

My wife is also a Secondary school teacher and she has a brother in Perth who is a PR and he would be happy to sponsor us, my wife would have 110 points - only need 100 for 176, would the CSL still count if we applied for 176 because we thought this visa would be alot slower to get than a 175 but perhaps it will take a similar amount of time if you are on the CSL.

Yes, CSL would count no matter whether it is 175 or 176. Your wife's relative can sponsor either you or your wife as in either of you can be the main applicant.
