Dear Pankaj,
The letter you have received from DIMIA Adelaide is quite clear. You contact the IELTS test centre and request them to forward your IELTS scoresheet to the ASPC direct. There is no need to show them the letter from the ASPC, as you are entitled to have your IELTS scoresheet sent anywhere in the world. You will need to negotiate with your university to find out the modalities of having your degree certificate and transcript verified by them and how they will forward this to Adelaide. Re: HOW TO SEND IELTS RESULT DIRECTLY FROM TESTING CENTER ?
Dear All,
I have received acknowledgement letter form ASPC with file number. I have sent my application Nov 2002, included my wife original IELTS result. One paragraph of this letter said "You should be aware if you have included any IELTS test results with your application, _you will be required_ to arrange for test centre to forward an official copy of these results direct to this office. Any further equiries in relation to the IELTS test should be directed to the relevant IELTS test centre" Question: 1. I have sent the original copy of my wife IELTS result, should I wait untill ASPC asks me to send it directly from test cente? (note: my wife IELTS tests result is for waiving $2485 fee of less than functional English for spouse) 2. If (1) yes, should I tell IELTS test center my file reference number so they can include that number in IELTS result that they post directly? 3. I did not send my IELTS test, since I got 1.5 years Master Degree in Computer Science (from Australian University) and I have been doing PhD research in Computer Science for 4 years and working as part time associate lectures for 3 years (in Australia University). I did my IELTS test last month and got 7,7,6,6 = 6.5, pretty bad result :( Should I send this too, or it is better that I wait untill ASPC asks me to send it? Anyone has similar experience? (apologise if this question seems paranoid). Thanks everybody. Kind Regards, Tony Originally posted by George Lombard Dear Pankaj, The letter you have received from DIMIA Adelaide is quite clear. If (1) yes, should I tell IELTS test center my file reference > number so they can include that number in IELTS result that > they post directly? Yes, that would be advisable - it'll be more complicated if DIMIA/ASPC received additional documents (IELTS scores included) without any ref number. > 3. <snip> I did my IELTS test last month and got > 7,7,6,6 = 6.5, pretty bad result :( > Should I send this too, or it is better that I wait untill ASPC > asks me to send it? Again, no harm in sending in your IELTS results (with the ASPC ref number), since you qualify for the maximum English points, 'bad' result notwithstanding. Peter |

Re: HOW TO SEND IELTS RESULT DIRECTLY FROM TESTING CENTER ?
Hi,
I also included my Original IELTS Score Report along with application and ASPC asked me the same thing to send the scores directly from the center. Then I sent an email to ASPC , and they have told me that if I have included original score report, then it is sufficient. If they require the score directly, then would ask me later. So I think I there is no need as ASPC sends the acknowledgement without seeing the contents of the application ! Acknowledgement letter is a pre-printed format, containing standard requirements based on your country. So do not worry about re sending the scores as in any case you would not be sure whenther your centre has really sent the score card and ASPC has received it. I hope it helps Balu |
Re: HOW TO SEND IELTS RESULT DIRECTLY FROM TESTING CENTER ?
Dear all,
Thanks for responses, I will go to the IELTS test center (which is University of Techology Sydney) sometime this week, and ask them to send our IELTS results. This process will be more complicated if I am not in Sydney. So I will just do it soon. -- Tony |
Re: HOW TO SEND IELTS RESULT DIRECTLY FROM TESTING CENTER ?
You can arrange everything via post, you don't need to go there in person.
Just give them a call. I sent them a letter (with my name, address, DOB, IELTS number, date when I sat the test and my DIMIA ref number) together with a money order for $11 - and that should be enough. Good luck Tomas "a_student" wrote in message news:[email protected]... > Dear all, > Thanks for responses, I will go to the IELTS test center (which is > University of Techology Sydney) sometime this week, and ask them to send > our IELTS results.
