Default ACS vs DIBP what is the right thing to do here!!!

Hello All,

Apologies if this question have been asked before, I just need a more crystal clarification.

1.When filling my EOI, I included all my employment history related my Skilled Occupation list. From 2009 till Date. Everything with age, IELTS and education gave me 60points

2.When I submitted my ACS assessment as usual they deducted all the years and started counting from my graduation year 2011 till date.

My question is:

1. Will DIBP consider my previous experience or will they follow the ACS assessment?

Best Regards
James

They will make their own determination. But there is NO WAY, I would risk claiming more. Could be a visa decline and lost fee if they go with ACS, which is a very strong probability.

DIBP will follow ACS advice usually. For the EOI only enter the experience ACS has deemed as skilled - you can tell DIBP about all your experience in the application stage but will not get points for it and the last thing you want to do is over claim points
