Skilled migrant visa application sent in....hearing back from Immigration?
 

Hi there,

I am currently now in New Zealand on a work to residence visa. I have applied for my skilled migrant visa-got invited to apply-I sent off all my paperwork, and via tracking I can see was received 2 days ago. I am just wondering what happens? Do Immigration get in touch fairly quick? Do they cash the payment quite quickly? And acknowledge they have received the application?

Took me 2.5 months to get assigned to a case officer, yep they take the money as soon as they have the documents. Sit tight it will be ticking away

Ok thank you. I am just a bit worried as my payment still hasn't been cashed yet, and they have had the documents now for 1 week. Do you think everything is ok?

It prob in a que waiting to be scanned, I wouldn't panic yet.
