The time you got from your SMS was not the time when INZ received your payment. It was just when the amount of money had been deducted from your account. You must see the time displayed on receipt returned by INZ after finishing your payment.

@Vivekanand.. I checked with my friends who got their confirmation email alone.. Their application status looks same as like ours..

And you should have asked your friends the exact time when they had finished their payments. There were possibilities that, in fact, all 300 quota had been already filled within the first 5 minutes.

I think if we dont hear any positive news, I am going to complain to the office of the Ombudsmen. Not sure if they are quite the right people but it is where complain about NZ governement agencies so it's worth a go!

I suppose we await further correspondence.

My receipt number is also 15** and went through at 10.09am

Have asked them what was the time mentioned in the post payment page, both couldn't remember that.. One guy was informed that he got payment confirmation SMS from bank exactly at 10.05am(NZ time).. Probably they would made it around 10.05 am only i guess..

Thanks for your effort Rajaduraisaamy. It gave us some hope. I spoke to Delhi branch on Friday and initially they told me that might be because of the system error they faced recently (That's the reason they changed the actual Apr 27 to May 4) and later she was not sure and she told me to forward both the emails. I did it according to her instructions and I've received a reply that they will forward it to the concerned in INZ. Let's see tomorrow guys. Few more hours tp go!

Yeah it happened all over the world. I have googled the error message and found that in chineese and Russian websites. There were discussions in several forums. My doubt is whether very few people have got only confirmation or only few people had expressed it in forums?

Have not receive any email, then i called INZ i was told i we receive the email i should not worry.

I also got mail stating
We regret to advise you of a technical fault that occurred shortly after the Silver Fern Job Search scheme opened on 04 May 2012, and that your application was accepted in error.



This enabled you to submit the form and pay the fee, even though all the places had already been filled. You may have also received an email indicating that you have secured a place for this year’s quota.



Unfortunately, your application cannot be processed.



We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience of this error. We are arranging for the fee to be refunded to your credit card. We aim for a high level of service and are committed to acknowledging and fixing any mistakes as quickly as possible.



You are welcome to apply again when the quota re-opens about this time next year.
